Nails & Tea

The best quick relaxation combo any girl should do?....
GET A MANICURE.
So I decided to go and get a manicure since my nails were in dire need of attention, but of course it can't be all that fun without a friend by your side so that you could be chatting away and forgetting the world for an hour.

Tea is a must to help the process of relaxation, but those marshmallows on the side... YUM.  My sister (who came with me) gobbled up both our meringues - apparently they were delicious.

Luckily for me, my manicurist had the softest touch and was very careful when doing my nails, i loved it.
I don't know about you but when i don'y feel comfortable during a session, i think that it is NEVER worth it, especially once you get hurt or it's not up to your standards, well then believe me, everything goes downhill from that point on.

Since it's spring now and everybody is having a hard time dealing with hay fever (esoecially yours truly) I found that this recipe helps keep evryhing in check.

The ingredients:
- A mug of your choice
- Lemon slices
- Honey
- Twinnings - Revitalizing Lemon & Ginger Tea

Add water into your mug and plce the tea bag inside, once that has settled for a while take out the tea bag nd place as many lemon slices as you'd like. I put in just one.

For some sweetness, add a couple table spoons of honey - or as much as your sweet tooth would like to have.
Voila !! The prefect relaxing, soothing, delicious cup of tea.

Nearly forgot to mention my current nail colour obsession !! I have been wearing this colour for the past 3 or 4 months. Its perfect, not quite winter, not quite spring. It fits all the seasons.

The colour i have on is Essie's - Sand Tropez.

How are you handling your spring time?

Obsessed | Tyrrell's - Veg Crisps

Beware: extremely addictive !!

So recently I may have been a tad bit obsessed with the Tyrrell's Veg crisps. They are so darn good !! ❤️

No joke I eat at least 1 small packet a day. ahhh yum.❤️
(And yes I am munching on them while I am writing this post im not gonna lie :D)

The great thing about them that doesn't make me feel guilty when I eat so much of these is that these crisps are:
- Vegan friendly
- Has nothing artificial at all
- Gluten free
All three things are a 'check' off of my list of good stuff to eat.

The ingredients are literally :
- Parsnips
- carrots
-Beetroots
-sunflower oil
-sea salt
THATS IT !!

I wasn't attracted to these crisps in any way since I don't eat parsnips nor beetroots...But astonishingly, I quite liked the flavours ! Maybe its because theyre crunchy and delicious as crisps so not all of the actual flavour of raw veggies are there. I dunno.

To be quite honest...I prefer the smaller packets because the sea salt seasoning is a lot more intense than this large packet.

I most definitely recommend these British hand-cooked snacks.  They hit the spot.

Food Making | Bruschetta

Bruschetta is actually more difficult to make than i'd thought it would be..

This is now my 3rd time trying to make it because it is my ABSOLUTE favorite thing to eat.  If a restaurant has it on the menu then you can guarantee that i will order it. Yummers !! ❤

Both times of me trying to make this and they have failed, never having the juices dripping when you eat them nor the kick you get from the tomatoes (is there a secret sauce or something? I dunno)

I'm using a book this time to make it so fingers crossed !

But so far its looking pretty good...
I'll update this blog tonight with how the final taste was like.

p.s. sorry for the bad picture but it was taken from my phone.
❤

Update: yeaaah..... wasn't THAT good/great. Edible yes but not the taste i was looking for. But it did look amazing though it the end so yaay at least that was nice.
